1. Starwars complete set I to VI
Yes I’m a nerd/geek whatever. I remember my mom made us marathon watch the first 3 star wars when I was still little (in VHS format) and it was truly awesome. I haven’t seen the first 3 since then. I watch the last 3 in the cinemas (incredible because I never go to the movies) and if my memory serves me right, I watch the first 2 in the US. Just timing that there’s a new starwars when I was there.
2. Dr. Horrible Sing-along-Blog
I have a gay crush on NPH. He’s Legen- wait for it!!!- dary!!! I didn’t knew this film existed. After watching a few clips on YT, I knew I just gotta download its full version. with my freeze ray I will stop.
3. Daft Punk – Interstella 5555
Another YT induced download. I was reminiscing on old songs I used to like back in grade school and high school. I remember this band with blue-anime MVs but just couldn’t remember them. Coincidentally, a friend posted one of their videos in FB so finally I learned who they were. I watched a bunch of their vids, I was trying to piece together all of the MVs to piece a whole story. That’s when I learned that I’m wasting valuable time because the MVs were actually parts of a movie- Interstella 5555. Instead of YT-ing every single one, why not just download the movie.5:30: called them for delivery, they said that they aren’t ready yet because of something something. Call at 6 instead.
6:00: they said to call after 10 mins because the gas isn’t ready yet.
6:10: ok na. we put our orders. they said that they can’t deliver to us because we are too far! Php 300 minimum order.
First, there is no MINIMUM ORDER indicated in their fliers that they GAVE US.
Second, how come we are too far? WE ARE BOTH LOCATED IN SHAW BLVD. oh ok our street isn’t exactly shaw but you just have to turn left from shaw and that’s our street already. Besides, pag yellow cab nga we call the MAKATI AVE. branch. Can I repeat? We are both located in SHAW. just take a friggin Jeep and you’ll get here! and its really just STRAIGHT ahead kase nga we are both in SHAW!!!
Third, it says in their flier na Rufo’s Open 24/7 Delivery 24/7. Oh really??
I told my mom to call the Pasig branch instead. BTW dun sa flier, the Shaw branch is encircled, so it means that when they gave us this flier we are within their delivery service!
My mom asked first what’s the minimum. 200 daw. and yes, they will deliver to us.
The Pasig branch is Ortigas lang naman, so instead of taking a jeep, you can take an FX to get here :)).
Wow, 4 years na pala
Naaalala ko pa, first registration sa UP. Sa CHE, nawawala pa adviser ko kaya sobrang tagal naming naghintay. Doon ko nakilala si Alvin (yes BA friends, freshie pa lang magkaibigan na kami ni Alvin hehe) at si AJ. My first friends in UP.
First year first sem, sumali din ako sa first org ko ang UP Circle of Entrepreneurs. Mostly nagging kaibigan ko diyan ay mga seniors at upperclassman. Diyan ko din nameet si Jono sila twins, pat at madami pang iba J
By the 2nd sem first year, lagi kong kasama si Janina at si Celina ang aking lab partners sa chem J) may pinamanahan pa kaming mga kung ano anong gamit sa locker ng station naming sa chem. Lab
Dun ko din nakilala si boom bilang kaklase ko sa envsci at sa socsci2. So alam niyo yun, wag kayong magtaka paano kami nagkakilala sa up haha. Meant kase! Joke.
Tapos nag-shift nako to BA the next year J actually it was either BE or BA, mabuti napili ko BA! Tama naman talaga diba friends?
First year ko sa BA, di maxadong eventful. Dun ko nakilala for the first time sila bogs, carlo, erielle and treisha through CE! Hehe. Pero di pa talaga kami nagging friends nila erielle and treisha non.
Come 3rd year, ito na ang blockish year ever to date! Haha met my BLOCK B family! Mabuti yon yung napili kong block J hanggang next sem, walang nagpalitan ng block! Ito sobrang daming memories talaga. Everyday memorable J ang Masaya sa block na to kase lahat ng tao makakausap mo, makukulit mo kahit magkakaiba-iba kayo! J isang highlight nuon yung 115 study group sleepover sa bahay nila bogs na nauwi lang sa inuman (ni janica). Hahaha!
After ng 3rd year, ayan nag exchange nako sa korea. Miggy, Karen, yana, ate flo. Di nako magkwekwento J)
Fourth year 1st sem, finally sumali nako sa ABAM! Hahaha lumaki lalo ang circle of friends ko, halos buong junior BA batch tas pati ibang BA batches. Super thankful ako sa ABAM family ko. ABAM is a real family org. thanks sa mga abam family ko for keeping me company and un-lonely during my emo/single days! J ito yung sem na super nag-enjoy talaga ako sa college life.
And now, 2nd sem, wala akong BA subject, lagi ko tuloy namimiss ang abam family ko! sabi ko nga kay hazel, di ko man kayo nakakasama, lagi ko naman kayo namimiss so lagi ko din kayo naiisip! J
Ngayon, malapit na matapos ang sem, my last year in college. My last year in UP. I am missing a lot of things already. Di ko alam ano mangyayari for the next few months, next coming years. Pero kahit ano man mangyari, I will always be happy kase I was able to experience the PERFECT college life with all of you guys. :)
its hard to let go of something that has made you smile for how many years already.
Kung pwede lang humaba ang panahon para makapiling ko pa kayo ng mas matagal sa loob ng abam tambayan at iba pang lugar sa UP, pero kelangan na. kelangan na nating umalis.
It is time to fulfill our legacy in this world.
